Clayton Thomas-Mueller of the Indigenous Environmental Network discusses confronting the industrial ecological footprint by building the political power of indigenous communities. As the primary bearers of the associated toxic burden of this footprint, indigenous lands in Canada, he says, have become an officially designated sacrifice zone.
